Beautiful, Hand-Poured Natural Perfumes

Houstonian Tiffany D’Antonio creates beautiful, hand-poured, natural solid perfumes with a base of beeswax utilizing healing properties of natural oils, absolutes and isolates, that are lovely for your mind and spirit. The sweet little compact is so easy to take along with you.

Tiffany spent more than 18 months in research, development and classwork with experts in California in order to create her D’Antonio perfumes, which currently include five different scents. I’ve already purchased the “Summer Love” scent – a clean and crisp fragrance with hints of rose, nutmeg, Peru balsam, juniper berry and more.

Why natural perfume? The Environmental Working Group (EWG) reports that, while many popular perfumes, colognes and body sprays contain trace amounts of natural essences, they also typically contain a dozen or more potentially hazardous synthetic chemicals, some of which are derived from petroleum. To protect “trade secrets”, makers are allowed to withhold fragrance ingredients, so consumers can’t rely on labels to know what hazards may lurk inside that new bottle of perfume. Sigh.
